Since 1944 Holland has used Mascotte Gommé to roll its best cigarette and to the present day it is the best quality rolling paper in the world. Mascotte Gommé rolling paper is a pure and natural product made from specially selected plant fibers bleached without using chlorine and lined with a sticky edge of Arabian gum.

Mascotte loves the dutch Kitesport and supports the Kite Team of multiple Dutch champion Stephen Versteegh. The Mascotte Kite Team attended a lot of Kite events in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany this year. Highlight was the World Championship title in April this year for the Mascotte Kite Team. Winnning in China, the cradle of kiting, made this effort extra special.
Objective
Create an Ad in which you promote the 31st edition of the Mascotte Kite festival Scheveningen, the biggest kite event in the Netherlands. This event is supported by Mascotte and promises to be a great event on the beaches of Scheveningen. The objective of your Ad is to let people know about this event and to get them to the beach at the 26th and 27th of September.
Make sure that one of our brand slogans can be found in your ad: Mascotte rolt beter, plakt beter, brandt beter. Or: Mascotte 3 x Better. (This is a Dutch slogan and can be found under ‘files’). Other files like logo's and pictures can also be found under the button 'files'.
Prizes
Company prizes: Three winners that are chosen by the Mascotte Company.

Design
It's up to you to decide what kind of Ad you would like to create. You can send in a print Ad or a video. The only thing we really want to see is your creativity. Suprise us!
Deadline
Your ad should be uploaded before the 17th of September 2009. Voting is possible until the 23rd of September 2009. Make sure that people get stimulated to visit the Mascotte Kite festival in Scheveningen. Spread your Ad also within Hyves, Facebook and Twitter through our integration tools, which can be found under the '+' symbol in our videoplayer.
Winners
Winners will be announced on the 24th of September 2009 (just two day before the kite festival kicks off!). You can find the results in the winners-section of CreatAd

Conditions
Mascotte is a rolling paper brand and not a tobacco product. But it is absolutely forbidden to stimulate smoking in your ad. There can be no cigarette, or any kind of smoking/tobacco product in your ad. In other words: There can be no link to smoking in the ads.
Ads that do contain these elements will immediately be excluded from the competition.
Won prizes can't be changed into money.
